Sinuspinde pansmantala ang pag-implementa ng bagong patakaran ng Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) sa mga Filipinong lalabas ng Pilipinas, ayon sa anunsiyo ng Department of Justice (DOJ), ngayong araw, Huwebes, 31 August.
Nagbigay ang DOJ ng kanilang paliwanag sa pag-suspinde ng bagong regulasyon ng IACT tatlong-araw bago sana simulan ang implementasyon ng regulasyon.
Ayon sa statement na nilabas ng DOJ, sinaad dito na, “The primary objective of the revised guidelines was to streamline the departure procedures, ensuring a more efficient and secure process for all individuals traveling abroad. The revisions were not intended to burden the general public but rather to enhance the overall experience of departing passengers.”
“We take this opportunity to remind everyone that the temporary suspension of the implementation of the revised guidelines on departure formalities does not affect existing laws and regulations governing travel and immigration procedures. All existing rules and guidelines remain in place until further notice,”ayon pa muli ng DOJ.
Kahapon, inaprubahan ng mga Senators ang pag-suspinde sa ilang resolution sa bagong pag-implementa ng Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) para sa mag Filipinong palabas ng bansa na pinangunahan ni Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva.
