Emergency services received reports of the blaze at 4:11 PM, indicating a serious situation at the facility located on Shum Wan Road. The intensity of the fire prompted a swift upgrade to a No. 3 alarm by 4:45 PM, signaling the need for additional resources.
Images shared on social media depict thick plumes of smoke and flames engulfing the site, raising concerns among local residents and onlookers. In response, firefighters have mobilized two water jets and two teams equipped with breathing apparatus to tackle the inferno.
Authorities confirmed that nine individuals, consisting of five men and four women, were safely evacuated from the area. Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties at this time.
