The vibrant colors and fragrant displays of the annual Hong Kong Flower Show at Victoria Park will come to a close this Sunday, March 23, at 9 PM. This marks the final opportunity for flower enthusiasts and families to immerse themselves in a spectacle featuring tens of thousands of blooming flowers.
As the show wraps up, attendees are reminded that on Monday morning, March 24, a selection of plants will be made available to the public. Beginning at 9 AM, the South Pavilion Plaza will serve as the distribution point for flowers in good condition that are suitable for replanting.
An estimated 3,500 pots will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis, with each visitor allowed to take home one pot only. Organizers encourage residents to bring their own bags to transport their floral treasures.
In addition to the floral festivities, the Jockey Club Student Drawing Competition held its prize presentation ceremony earlier today, showcasing the creativity of young artists. Winning entries are currently on display at the showground, adding an artistic flair to the botanical wonderland.
With the clock ticking down to the show’s conclusion, this weekend offers a final chance for residents and visitors alike to revel in the beauty of springtime blooms before they are packed away until next year.
