Movie fans and cultural enthusiasts alike are in for a treat as the “Live out the Cinematic Charm of Hong Kong” Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In Exhibition expands its footprint from the Hong Kong International Airport to the Kowloon City neighborhood that served as its backdrop.
The exhibition, a collaborative effort between the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), Nan Fung Group AIRSIDE, and the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), along with the filmmakers, officially kicked off Phase 2 today, offering visitors an enhanced, immersive experience.
“After the overwhelmingly positive response to the initial phase at the airport, we’re thrilled to bring this exhibition to the very setting that inspired the film,” said HKTB Chairman, John Doe. “Visitors can now fully immerse themselves in the cinematic world of Twilight of the Warriors and discover new aspects of Hong Kong’s rich cultural heritage.”
One of the key highlights of the expanded exhibition is the integration of dialogues between the actors and sound effects, creating a multi-dimensional experience for visitors as they traverse the alleys and indoor locations modeled after the original Kowloon Walled City.

In addition to the iconic scenes featured in the film, the exhibition has added five new photo spots, including a Comic Stall, Tailor Shop, Bone-setting Clinic, Shoemaker’s Shop, and Dental Clinic, all meticulously recreated to transport visitors back to the 1980s.
The exhibition also features a collection of “Easter eggs” hidden throughout the various scenes, encouraging visitors to explore and discover the little details that bring the cinematic world to life.
For those looking to extend their experience, the exhibition features a range of dining and retail options, offering iconic Hong Kong delicacies and retro-inspired merchandise, including limited-edition movie collectibles.
The “Live out the Cinematic Charm of Hong Kong” Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In Exhibition will run until April 13, 2025, inviting locals and visitors alike to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Hong Kong’s cinematic and cultural heritage.
