The highly anticipated Food Expo is making its grand return on August 15, promising a five-day culinary adventure that showcases a vibrant tapestry of global cuisine. Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the expo will feature an impressive lineup of over 1,800 exhibitors from 26 countries, all eager to share their culinary delights.
This year’s event is not just about food; it’s part of a larger celebration that includes the Hong Kong International Tea Fair, Home Delights Expo, Beauty & Wellness Expo, and Food Expo PRO. Together, these fairs will transform the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre into a hub of gastronomic exploration.
Special thematic days—such as “Delights Across Mainland China,” “Happy Friday,” and “Japan & Korea Culture”—will add flair to the event, catering to the diverse tastes of attendees. Visitors can expect a feast for the senses, with a Premium Food Zone and a Gourmet Zone showcasing renowned brands and unique delicacies from around the world.
Continuing a beloved tradition, On Kee Dry Seafood will offer a limited quantity of abalone for just HK$1. The first nine early birds in line will have the chance to participate in a game to win 500 cans of this prized seafood.
In addition to the abalone, several exhibitors will feature limited-time offers on products like pate iberico, duck confit, and Umeshu, all priced at HK$1, adding an element of excitement for savvy food lovers.
The expos will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily from August 15 to 18, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on August 19, providing ample opportunity for attendees to indulge in the culinary wonders on display.
As the Food Expo approaches, anticipation builds for what promises to be a memorable celebration of food, culture, and community in Hong Kong.
