Hong Kong police have intensified their search for two missing Filipino domestic workers, with new details emerging about their last known whereabouts in a Tsuen Wan village over a week ago.
Investigators revealed Monday that the women, identified as Mahilum and Perez, were last seen on the afternoon of October 8 in Lei Muk Shue Village. The search has now entered its second week with mounting concerns for their safety.
Mahilum, described as approximately 1.55 meters tall with a medium build, was last seen wearing a dark blue denim top, matching shorts, and white sneakers. She has a round face, yellowish complexion, and short brown hair.
Perez, slightly taller at 1.58 meters, was wearing a light blue long-sleeved top, light blue denim trousers, and white shoes. She also has a round face, yellowish complexion, and long black hair.
The Migrant Workers Office confirmed that both overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) are now on a watch list, with authorities coordinating efforts between local police and the Immigration Department.
