Get ready to be mesmerized by an enchanting interactive lighting installation called “The Moon Machine” at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza pool. From September 15th to October 8th, this captivating display, organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), will illuminate the night sky from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm daily (extended to midnight on September 29th, Mid-Autumn Day).

“The Moon Machine” is the brainchild of the talented local team, One Bite Design Studio, comprising Alan Cheung, Sarah Mui, Sherman Sun, and Deanna Lai. Using cutting-edge visual and sensory technology, they have created a one-of-a-kind lighting installation that responds to the presence of the crowd. As people gather around, the colors of the installation will magically change, creating a captivating and immersive experience for all.

But wait, there’s more! The Mid-Autumn Lantern Carnivals 2023 will not be limited to the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza pool. From September 23rd to October 2nd, the festivities will extend to Victoria Park, Sha Tin Park, and Tuen Mun Park. These locations will showcase a stunning array of lanterns with various themes, adding to the magical atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn season.

During the carnivals, you can look forward to a wide range of activities and entertainment.
