DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — The Philippines’ largest international investment show made a grand return to Dubai this weekend, celebrating a major milestone and expanding its reach to empower Filipinos worldwide.

The 10th annual Philippine Property and Investment Exhibition (PPIE) kicked off on Saturday at the iconic Bristol Hotel, reaffirming its status as a premier platform for overseas Filipinos to gain financial literacy and investment opportunities.

Since its inception in 2014, PPIE has remained dedicated to this cause, and this year’s event marked a significant decade of unwavering commitment.

“Over the last ten years, we have been educating the Filipinos outside of the Philippines on how to dream, and how to save and invest for that dream,” said Dr. Karen Remo, CEO and founder of organizer New Perspective Media (NPM) Group. “Our expansion and the accompanying campaign for it cements our commitment to empowering Filipinos worldwide with the knowledge and resources to secure their future.”

The event was opened by a host of dignitaries, including Philippine Ambassador to the UAE, the Consul General of the Philippine Consulate in Dubai, and officials from the UAE’s Department of Economy and Tourism.

Also in attendance were representatives from major Philippine real estate developers like RLC Residences, Ayala Land, Rockwell Land, and Hotel101 Global, underscoring the event’s importance in the Philippines’ property market.

This year, PPIE introduced an exciting new initiative – the #investPilipinas, #investPPIE campaign. Launched by Dr. Remo, the campaign aims to empower overseas Filipinos and their families back home to make informed investment decisions and plan for a secure future.

“PPIE will also be going home to the Philippines to teach financial literacy not just to OFWs but also to their families back home,” Remo announced. “Please continue to join us as we spread our wings in hopes of a better future for every Filipino, wherever they are in the world.”

To further boost the global campaign, 27 Filipino business and professional organizations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NPM Group’s Filipino publication, The Filipino Times. Under the MOU, the partners will actively promote and participate in events to encourage Filipinos and foreign investors to contribute to the Philippines’ nation-building through investments.

As PPIE celebrates its 10th year, the event’s unwavering commitment to financial empowerment and its ambitious expansion plans have cemented its status as a vital hub for Filipinos worldwide to secure their economic future.
